On 2nd May 2024, a group of 20 students and 6 teachers from Primary School "Mladost" Osijek visited our school as part of their STEM field visit. We held workshops in which our students participated together with their peers from Mladost Primary School. We ended the educational gathering in the outdoor STEM classroom, exploring the laws of physics and mathematics.

At the final conference of the KOZMOS project (Quality education for modern elementary school), held on April 19th2024, the project showed and presented the activities, achievements and results through presentations by students.

Our return study visit included Norwegian partners from the Nansen Academy, as well as representatives from the Sore Al school and the Areta school from Lillehammer. They visited our elementary school, and we introduced them to the activities and achievements of the KOZMOS project.

Through the extracurricular activity of the MOTIV Film Group and the Stop animation workshops organized as part of the project, students created their own small video stories, which are only the first step in the further filmmaking of our students. Take a look!

As the last activity to strengthen the capacity of teachers and other educational workers in Elementary School Dalj, a lecture entitled 'STEM today - Challenges of sustainable development' was held by Dražen Šimleša, a well-known sociologist from the Zagreb Institute of Social Sciences "Dr. Ivo Pilar", who deals with the field of globalization and sustainable development and is the author of several books and scientific papers.

Imagine a world where you can reach the sky, explore uncharted territories, and provide aid from the air. It's not an imagined future - it's a reality with drone technology that students and teachers have been learning about. The training was held by a drone pilot from Osijek, Tomislav Strahonja, who, as a high school student, was involved in aircraft modeling at the House of Technology in Osijek, which encouraged him to later build drones himself, and now he operates them as a professional drone pilot.
