Marking the Days of Media Literacy in Elementary School Dalj, the workshop 'My media self' was held by Bruno Koić and Mirna Šmit. Students and teachers had the opportunity to learn how to respond to different phenomena in the media space.
Teachers worked on activities to detect hate speech on different platforms used by their students, and students had the opportunity to participate in group work through which they became aware of the causes and consequences of hate speech; applying the lessons through the production of media content. From the group work, small video sketches were created that speak in an authentic way about seeing hate speech through the eyes of the students of Dalj school.
