Study visit was organized for teachers and other educational staff of Dalj school from 11th – 13th of January. Over the course of three days, we visited the Višnjan Science and Education Center, where Korado Korlević, a world-renowned Croatian astronomer, gave us a stimulating and motivating lecture. We also visited the Italian elementary school "Bernardo Parentin" in Poreč, where we exchanged work experiences with our colleagues, and the Joakim Rakovac Elementary School from St. Lovreč Pazenatic, where we heard more about the implementation of civic education as an extracurricular activity. In the Astronomical Center in Rijeka, we travelled among the stars, and in the freshwater aquarium 'Aquatica' in Karlovac, we descended below the surface of the rivers. The purpose of the trip was to acquire new knowledge, get acquainted with examples of good practices and exchange experiences with other schools and educational institutions, but also to strengthen the motivation and cooperation of teachers who will plan and develop new content for the implementation of extracurricular activities in the coming period.
